Answer: I have never tried monk fruit. Very expensive. Pure Erythritol as this one affects many people with a cold feeling in your mouth. It needs to be cut with another sweetener to break it down. I bought truvia, which is a mix of Erythritol & stevia & NO cold feeling for me at all. I found truvia the best. Hope this helps. -

Answer: It can thicken but not the same as sugar. -

Does this contain stevia?
Answer: Not at all. It's made by fermenting cornstarch so is similar to the production of stevia. It's non calorific, perfect for diabetes sufferers and won't damage your teeth. It's 60% to 70% less sweet than sugar so each spoonful is about a 1/3 less than a spoonful of sugar. Brilliant product been using it for a couple of years. -

Answer: I found I had to use 4 or 5 spoonfuls to get anywhere near the sweetness of sugar. -

Answer: No extra is necessary for sweetening. -

Answer: It's Erythritol, a type of carbohydrate called a sugar alcohol that people use as a sugar substitute. Erythritol is found naturally in some foods. It's also made when things like wine, beer, and cheese ferment. Besides its natural form, erythritol has also been a man-made sweetener since 1990. -

Answer: Puresweet zero is granulated, it's nice over breakfasts and dissolves well in hot drinks. If you want the powder, you need to purchase puresweet icing. I hope this helps.
