    Answer: Glyphosate will kill Japanese knotweed, it will need spraying towards end of summer, ideally when it flowers for best results. Please note it is illegal (UK) to remove knotweed from its location, wait for it to die and then smash it into soil. Killing knotweed will take 2/3 years of spraying and even then keep an eye for any sign of it reappearing in the future.

    Answer: I have used it on ivy and it seems to work but think it is more likely to eliminate it during the growing season but even then may well need a second or even third dose.
