Trebor has a rich history that dates back to 1907 when a partnership was formed by William Woodcock, Robert Robertson, Sydney Marks, and Thomas King.
Originally known as Robertson & Woodcock, the company eventually changed its name to Trebor when it relocated to Trebor House in Upton Park, London. In 1935, Trebor Mints were introduced, paving the way for the launch of Trebor Extra Strong just two years later. These mints quickly became a favorite among mint lovers, known for their intense, extra strong flavor.
Murray Mints joined the Trebor family in 1944, followed by Softmints in 1981. Trebor continued to innovate, introducing Trebor Extra Strong Spearmint in 1996, accompanied by its famous slogan, "Trebor Mints are a minty bit stronger." Although Trebor ventured outside of the mint category in 1986 with the creation of Softfruits, this product line found a new home with Bassetts and now exists as part of Bassett's Sweetshop Favourites range. However, Trebor remains your go-to brand for that perfect strong mint experience.
