Simya, Astroloji ve Teurji, özünde, birçok Batı felsefesinin de üzerine inşa edildiği, bedenselden maneviyata doğru bir yolculuğu anlatır. Hermes'in kendisi de bu üç bilgelik sütunundan ''Trismegistus''-Üç Kez Büyük adını almıştır. Bu Kitap, Musa'nın zamanından birkaç yüzyıl önce yazılmış olan dünya daki tüm Kitaplar arasında antik çağda ilk sıraya aday olabilir, ben de bunu düzeltmeye çalışacağım. Orijinali (bizim bildiğimiz kadarıyla) Arapçadır ve Yunanca, Latince, Fransızca, Flemenkçe vb. dillerinde çeşitli tercümeleri yayınlanmıştır, ancak daha önce hiç İngilizce olarak yayınlanmamıştır.
