Answer: Yes, the footbed is padded with soft suede type material over rubber, so it does not dry instantly but it is fully dry laying outside in the sun within a day. It shows no sign of degradation after repeated water use. They can also be used for hiking. -

Answer: We do not believe in using Chinese slave labor to reduce the price we pay at the register. Quality and fair labor practices are important to us. -

Answer: Based on personal experience, none of the Keen sandals I have owned had marking soles. -

Answer: I do not have the lighter brown sandals, but the darker ones do not show dirt easily and are great. -

Answer: Order 1/2 size bigger than your normal shoe size. You can easily locate a conversion chart for US/UK sizes. -

Answer: I have not experienced any toe blisters with these shoes. They are comfortable for the rope material and open back, but make sure to get the right size. -

Answer: Based on the description, the upper portion is leather and the straps are synthetic. The bottom sole is rubber. -

Answer: The cords are an elastic fabric and we are unsure how they would respond when wet.
