What Stands Out

Comic Heist
David Walliams turns an ordinary visit to Grandma into a lively jewel-heist adventure, blending cheeky humor, surprising twists, and fast-paced escapades that keep young readers entertained while making a classic crime-story setup playful and accessible.
Unexpected Grandma
Ben thinks his grandmother is dull until he discovers her secret past as a jewel thief. This surprising change of perspective gives the story an imaginative hero, funny revelations, and an affectionate celebration of older generations.
Family Adventure
At its heart, this is a spirited story about a boy and his grandmother growing closer. The mix of comedy, suspense, and family warmth makes it an appealing choice for independent reading or sharing aloud.
