The Cold Steel Cinquedea is a beautifully designed, expertly crafted blade. It is a true cinquedea with a blade length of about 14" and roughly 5" wide at the cross. The handle is sturdy, features crosshatching and small metal buttons, and feels nice in the hand. Both edges of the blade are sharpened and it does need to be oiled to prevent rust. It is not quite five fingers wide but has good heft and balance. Some customers have complained about rust, which can be prevented by oiling it. The scabbard does not come with a loop, strap, or connector which makes it difficult to carry. The handle is not the best on the hands.
