Despite the subpar Construction, the toy works well and has great sound quality due to the really long cord. The labels on the cans are humorous, but some customers found it would have been better if it had retro labels instead. The Schylling Tin Can Telephone was used by a second-grade teacher to demonstrate sound waves and was enjoyed by the kids. It also impressed a grandmother whose grandson loved it and was amazed how it works. Overall, although some customers found it to be cheaply made, for most it worked very well and was a great retro addition to their toy collection.
