About This Item

Inspired by the legendary rack mount reverbs of the 1980s, this pedal offers 8 algorithms to take your playing to new heights. With algorithms like room, hall, cathedral, gated reverb, reverse reverb, plate, spring, and a granular reverb, you have a wide range of sonic possibilities at your fingertips.
Each algorithm features separate high and low-frequency damping controls, pre-delay, modulation, dynamics (duck/expand), and infinite hold. The Context 2 even includes a built-in delay and tremolo in spring mode. The modulation knob allows you to dial in the desired amount and character of the internal reverb modulation, giving you a mix of different modulation types from the 1980s and early 90s. From chorus modulation to random modulation that keeps the pitch stable, you can add depth and movement to your reverb sounds. In the reverse reverb mode, the sound fades in louder and brighter over time, creating the illusion of playing backwards.
The spring reverb algorithm is designed to replicate the classic spring tank sound with adjustable decay length, high and low-frequency damping, and tremolo modulation. For those seeking unique and experimental sounds, the granular reverb algorithm is a standout feature.
