At the heart of this system is an 8 inches tall inverted top conical 360 degree radial flow performance air filter.
This pre-oiled filter features 3-layers of progressive finer porosity synthetic media, providing maximum airflow and performance. The mandrel-bent tubing, made of durable wrinkle-black powder-coated aluminum, directs the airflow from the filter to the throttle body with minimal restrictions.
This one-piece 3-1/2 inches tubing improves the throttle response and contributes to the overall increase in horsepower and torque. To protect your engine from performance-robbing heat, this intake system comes with a sturdy 18 gauge powder-coated one-piece heat shield. Not only does it effectively block engine heat, but it also requires no assembly and installs easily using factory mounting locations.
