The Audinate Dante AVIO is an adapter capable of integrating analog devices with Dante-enabled audio networks. This adapter is powered with PoE or with the included USB cable. It's noted that users can achieve the tightest network-sync performance by utilizing a PoE switch, however. The device is easy to use with the included Dante Controller software that's available for free from Audinate's website. While there seem to be no complaints about the quality of the product or integration to the network, there are some notes about latency issues when used with a PC due to sample buffers that introduce delay, and that the Dante Virtual Soundcard software has no refund policy. The product also has an AES67 option and is noted to be a reliable way to convert analog devices to networked audio with no dropouts even over long distances.
