It adapts lines from Plautus and Terence plays and is reminiscent of their works. While it may not be suitable for grade-schoolers due to its meretrix character, high schoolers and above will find it interesting. The story is entertaining enough to keep students engaged, and it can be used for readers at multiple levels. However, compared to the Oxford Latin Course, it falls short, as it is boring and has too many obscure vocab words, with almost no pictures to guide readers.
