Answer: I can’t say if it is supposed to smell like acetone, but have checked my current bottle & nowhere does it say it contains acetone. But I’ve given up using it now. -

Is this any good if applied over a coat of nail polish? Or is this meant to be used only over polish-free nails?
Answer: I use this all the time as I have very dry brittle nails. It needs to go on bare nails and massage it well into the nail.
