Repashy Solient Green is an all-around food formula for most fish, excluding carnivorous specimens. While there is a bit of confusion over how many servings come in the 12oz jar, it mainly depends on the size and number of the fish. However, the jar can make 3-4 pounds of finished gel. After defrosting, the food can quickly be prepared by dropping a 1/2 inch cube into a small cup of aquarium water. Customer reviews are mostly positive. Fish seem to love this food, and it is easy to store and prepare. Several customers report improved health and better-looking fish after switching to Repashy Solient Green. However, several customers did mention an odd smell that accompanied the food.
