The X8 comes with a removable 167oz water tank and can be professionally connected to a water supply, with an optional (extra $599) permanent connection kit. The machine is also compatible with the Jura J.O.E. app, which requires the Smart Connect plugin BlueTooth adaptor. A bypass system makes a place for preground coffee which bypasses the grinder. However, the machine does not fit under a regular countertop kitchen cabinet. Customer Experience and Reception: The Jura X8 Platinum Automatic Espresso & Cappuccino Machine with Touch Screen has received mixed reviews from customers. While most are impressed with the machine's capabilities, some have been disappointed, particularly with the milk system.
