The handles are made of 1050 steel and covered in PVC material and the set comes in a case approximately 8x10 inches and 3 to 4 inches thick. The set includes: 3483, 3484, 3485, 3486, 3487, 3488 (all of these are 6") and 3489, 3490 and 3491 (all of these are 7-1/2") and 3492, 3493 and 3494 (all of these are 9-1/4"). The plier set is durable and has a great selection of sizes. However, some reviewers have reported tip wear on some of the most used sizes. One reviewer reported that the frames twist as you put pressure on them causing the snap ring to pop out. Another reviewer reported jacked up factory threads on the fasteners and bad design which made the set useless.
