AED Cushions & Mounts ‎A2396 Editorial Review

  • ubuy Taiwan

The DEA A2396 Engine Torque Strut Mount has garnered a mixed reception among customers who have installed it in their vehicles. Many users appreciate the part's straightforward installation, with some reporting that it dropped into place seamlessly within minutes. This aspect highlights its compatibility with certain models, particularly for older cars with a 4-cylinder engine. However, several customers have voiced concerns regarding compatibility, noting that the strut mount does not fit models with a V6 engine, especially in the 1988 Fiero. This has led to significant frustration for those who inadvertently purchased it for the wrong model. In terms of performance, while users acknowledge the part functions adequately, there are criticisms surrounding the quality of the rubber bushings. The bushings are described as softer than the stock options, leading to excessive play in the motor. Several reviewers noted that the rubber components showed signs of deformation shortly after installation, which raises concerns about their longevity and overall durability. Despite some positive experiences, such as finding this torque strut a suitable replacement at a great price, the overall Consensus suggests that potential buyers should be cautious regarding compatibility and the materials used in its Construction. **
