It is easier to scrape out and a lot easier to store under the kitchen cabinets. The container comes with a lid and a tamper, and it works perfectly with older models like the Vitamix Creations ll. Although it is a great quality product, cleaning it might be a little difficult. Nonetheless, customers are satisfied with the replacement and say it arrived new and in perfect condition, and it fits all current Vitamix models, including the CIA series.
