The Tuffy Security Products Tailgate Lockbox is a high-quality and sturdy product that provides secure storage space for recovery gear, first aid kit, and air compressor. Customers have commended the Construction quality and piece of mind it provides. The box does come with pre-drilled holes for attaching to your Jeep's tailgate but lacks additional holes for adding a locking mechanism. However, customers can drill additional holes and use their desired locking system. The front support when folded down can hold up to 40lbs, which can be used as a camp stove station. The box takes up approximately 7 1/2 inches into the tailgate space, and installation does not require drilling holes if the tailgate cover panel is not removed. However, some customers faced issues with the installation process, and some had to modify the mounting to make it look better. One customer did not like the Tuffy product and received no help from them. The ropes that hold the lid up while using it as a table have broken for one customer.
